Summer Reading Program For Infants through 12th Grade
Receive your log and book bag when you register. Registration opens on June 17th at 11am, at the Summer Reading Blastoff.
For Babies through Tweens, pick out one prize from the Treasure Chest each time you visit the library.
Earn raffle tickets for time spent reading. Raffle tickets are used to win one of the eight prize baskets.
Prize basket winners will be announced on Saturday, August 31.

Adults get prizes for reading too!
Sign up for Summer Reading and for every book you read this summer, you'll receive a ticket to enter the grand prize raffle.
Read ten (10) books between June 17th and August 30th, and you will get a canvas tote bag perfect for carrying around your next big read.
Grand prize raffle winner will be announced on Saturday, August 31.

Start literacy and early learning skills from birth. Bring your baby for a story, rhymes, lap bounces, and songs followed by play and parent talk.

WHAT CAN PARENTS & CAREGIVERS EXPECT?
Story Time Programs introduce children to books, rhymes, music, and other fun activities at age appropriate levels.
Story Times incorporate early literacy skills that help children learn to read:
Please remember: Storytimes are carefully planned presentations that are neither school lessons nor stage performances, but completely unique literary experiences for the child. Each storytime is designed to incorporate pre-literacy skills with delightful children’s books to encourage children’s early love of reading. We appreciate your help in preserving an enjoyable and beneficial storytime experience for all.
what is the adult's Role?
Adult bringing a child/children ages 0-3 must attend the program. Adults bring a child/children ages 4+ must remain in the library during the program.

Explore basic art concepts through a story, rhymes and songs. Then create a masterpiece inspired by the story you’ve just heard.
