Today, we play Disney: Villainous. Channel your inner Disney villain. Each villain has a player board and a unique deck of cards featuring useful allies, items, and effects that help you pursue your unique victory objective. However, each player also has a fate deck, full of those pesky heroes who tend to get in your way. It's a race to be the first villain to defy fate and change the ending of their story. Obscurio
Saturday, November 21 at 10am | Ages 10+
Today, we play Obscurio. The players are a group of wizards who have stolen a powerful spell book from an evil sorcerer, and must now escape from his magical library. In each room, the group must choose between six doors, each featuring a bizarre, fantastical image. Only one door will lead them closer to the exit. One player plays as the spell book itself and knows the way out, but can only communicate with strange images of their own as clues. But beware - one of your fellow wizards may just be a traitor, hoping to lead the group astray and keep you lost in the library forever. To learn how to play, click here.
Splendor
Saturday, December 19 at 10am | Ages 10+
Today, we play Splendor. Each player is a merchant of precious gemstones, hoping to gain the patronage of influential nobles and royals by gathering and spending gems to acquire cards that make future purchases easier. More expensive cards confer prestige, which helps attract the attention of the aforementioned nobles. First player to reach 15 prestige points wins. To learn how to play, click here.
