A popular press-your-luck card game. Each round, players choose to either pass or flip over another card. Cards are numbered 1-12, and are worth points equal to their number. If a player flips over a card with a number they already have, they go bust and lose all points that round. The round ends when all players have either passed or gone bust. First player to 200 points wins.

A modern classic. Players compete to become the most successful railroad builder by collecting sets of matching color cards, then using those cards to claim train routes connecting major North American cities. Longer routes are worth more points. Players even have secret routes they must complete to score bonus points, keeping everyone guessing who’s really in the lead until the end. A great game for teaching geography too!

A clever trick-taking card game featuring a deck of familiar fairy-tale characters numbered 1-50. The game plays in three phases: Draft, Play, Score. Once you’ve drafted a hand of characters, each player plays one per round, with the highest number card winning the trick and scoring 2 points. Weaker characters however, have abilities that let them score points when played alongside other characters. For instance, Goldilocks is a weak card, but scores extra points if played in the same round as The Three Bears. Either go for high number cards, or look for cards that synergize well together. Most points wins.

An adaptation of the classic game of Telephone. One player writes down a short phrase.  The next person attempts to draw that phrase. The third player writes what they think the drawing depicts. The pattern continues until the final player, then everyone has a good laugh at how the original phrase has changed so dramatically. Plenty of replay value.
